AyaPrep, a pioneering education technology company, has signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Language and Commutation Sciences, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

This strategic partnership aims to foster collaboration to revolutionize mathematics education in Ghana by leveraging the innovative AyaPrep App for the teaching and learning of Math at JHS and SHS, by offering tutoring in local languages.

The AyaPrep App, designed to improve mathematics literacy among Junior and Senior High school students, provides personalized learning experiences in the Ghanaian local languages (Twi, Ewe and Ga).

By partnering with the Department of Language and Communication Sciences, KNUST, AyaPrep, the winner of the 2019 Ghana Innovation Hub’s Innov8GH Incubation Program, seeks to enhance the app’s content, expand its reach and promote multilingual education.

“AyaPrep has a proven track record, our initiative is research-based, we identified that one of the major courses that students have a problem with is mathematics, so we decided that why not tutor them in their local languages which they understand best”, stated Mr. Scoon Appiah Boakye, Founder and CEO, AyaPrep.

Expressing her full support for the partnership, Dr. (MRS) Victoria O. Faleke, the Head of Department at Language and Communication Sciences assured the representatives of AyaPrep of the Department’s full commitment to the MoU, and admonished them to let their presence be seen and felt at the Department and the University as a whole.

“Try as much as possible to leave your footprints where people can see that this is what AyaPrep has done or is doing, the more visible your presence in the department is, the more progress we can make”, she said.
