AyaPrep donates TV to KNUST’s Department of Language and Communication Sciences

AyaPrep, an innovative education technology company, has donated a brand-new 50-inch flat screen TV to the Department of Language and Communication Sciences at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
This gesture comes on the heels of the company’s recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the department, which marked the beginning of a collaborative effort to promote research, development, and innovation in education.
Expressing her gratitude for the gesture, the Head of the Department, Dr. (Mrs.) Victoria O. Faleke, commended AyaPrep and recalled her statements to the team during the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding, about leaving the footprints of the organization in the department, adding that the relationship if off to a great start.
“This is a great gesture, the Department of Language and Communication Sciences is cannot thank you enough, the last time you were here I remember telling you to let your footprints be seen in the department and your presence be felt in the university as a whole, that is exactly what you have done.
“This TV will be here after I am gone, anyone who comes in here will be able to see that this is what AyaPrep has done for the department, your legacy will live here, I am so grateful, on behalf of the entire department, I say thank you very much”, she expressed.
Founder and CEO of AyaPrep, Mr. Scoon Appiah Boakye, who led the donation, expressed the readiness of the organization to honor the MoU with the department, highlighting that the donation of the television is a sign of AyaPrep’s commitment to building and sustaining a good relationship with the department in service of the longevity of the Memorandum of Understanding.
The AyaPrep platform, designed to improve mathematics literacy among Junior and Senior High school students, provides personalized learning experiences in the Ghanaian local languages (Twi, Ewe and Ga), making the subject more accessible and understandable for students across the country.
The MoU, which aims to leverage the university’s expertise in language and communication to enhance AyaPrep’s educational content and platforms, has already started to bear fruit, with the TV donation being a significant addition to the department’s resources and a testament to AyaPrep’s commitment to supporting education and promoting academic excellence in Ghana.
