KNUST Holds 2025 Edition of Research Week and Scientific Conference

The KNUST Research Week and Scientific Conference 2025 officially commenced on Tuesday, 11th November 2025, and will conclude on Thursday, 13th November 2025, at KNUST School of Business (KSB) Block C. The event is being held under the theme "Empowering Researchers to Achieve Impactful Outcomes".
This annual conference reaffirms the university's unwavering commitment to fostering a vibrant and supportive research culture that enables both faculty and students to pursue excellence and generate meaningful impact through their work.
The 2025 edition, themed "Empowering Researchers to Achieve Impactful Outcomes", encapsulates the university's collective vision of building a dynamic research ecosystem, one that transforms potential into progress, knowledge into innovation and innovation into tangible benefits for society.
Distinguished personalities in attendance included Akyamfoɔ Asafo Boakye Agyemang-Bonsu, Chairman of Council, KNUST, Prof. (Mrs) Rita Akosua Dickson, Vice-Chancellor, KNUST, Dr. Audrey Smock Amoah, AG. Director General, National Development Commission, Accra, and the Minister of Education, represented by the Deputy Director of the Ministry of Education, Mr. Fred Kissiedu along with other notable guests.
The conference features keynote addresses, thought-provoking speeches, exhibitions, and panel discussion covering diverse subthemes. These sessions provide a platform for sharing knowledge, promoting collaborations and highlighting research that drives societal development and academic excellence.
